About PYECSO

Patriotic Youths Education Cultural and Social Organization (PYECSO) is a dedicated non-governmental organization as women led and women/youth focused organization working tirelessly to uplift the lives of vulnerable Afghan communities. Founded in 2006, PYECSO has been instrumental in providing essential services and opportunities in a country facing significant challenges. PYECSO's registration with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs underscores its commitment to transparency and accountability. Membership in key humanitarian clusters and Workgroups, such as the Afghanistan Education Cluster, Food Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC), Gender in Humanitarian Action Workgroup (GIH WG), Afghanistan Youth Workgroup (AY WG), and partnerships with renowned organizations like UNESCO/YABE and UN Women, demonstrate PYECSO's alignment with broader humanitarian goals and its capacity to leverage strategic partnerships.

With a presence in Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western regions with 14 offices in Afghanistan, PYECSO has a deep understanding of local contexts and can effectively tailor its programs to meet diverse needs.

Target Focus Group:

PYECSO focuses on the most vulnerable populations in Afghanistan to maximize impact:

1. Families Who Have Lost Members:
